So Miley Cyrus decided to do a new music video for her new song I Can’t Be Tamed. So apparently that means being self absorbed, inappropriate and plain and simple wrong.

Miley is introduced as a unique creature that it needs to be shown in a museum, really? Like Miley is so unique, she’s just one of those mass produced Disney stars who now is trying to grow up too fast. So yeah, people can say she writes her own songs and everything but do we really want to believe that? Don’t even get started on the latin translation of the name they gave this “bird”. Also in the introduction a lady wearing a bird cage on her head, that is so Lady Gaga. Hard to be original these days.

Then she starts sprouting wings, 25 foot wings on a girl her size? Really? The largest bird the albatross has a wing span of around 11 feet and weighs almost eighty pounds. Miley isn’t exactly a large girl so having a 25 foot wing span is just showing off. The nest she’s sitting in is also way too large for a “bird” her size, so odds are that she just went in and stole it.

Then she escapes from the cage by walking right out. Really? If I was running a museum and displaying something I would make damn sure that she wouldn’t be able to escape. There would have been a lot more bars on that cage. Also not forgetting the bars being used for some pole dancing. Though the idea of locking up Miley doesn’t seem like that bad an idea thinking about it.

Then for some reason she’s dressed completely different all of a sudden, why? I thought she was supposed to be this rare creature so in the middle of the video she turns into a peacock all of a sudden? Now this is the main issue with this video, Miley is a MALE peacock. First of all I doubt male peacocks would be showing such deep cleavage because they have none. She sings “Don’t change me” at the time, so is Miley saying she is a guy all of a sudden? Right after she’s close to kissing both male and female dancers, so no idea what this gender confusion is about but it’s just wrong.

Also a note has to be made that Miley only has wings at the very start and very end of the video. Where do you keep 25 foot wings? They don’t just disappear. Also at the end of the video the cage is destroyed and she’s back in it. So she needlessly destroyed a cage seeing she could just walk out and then goes back in. There was also some distruction going on in the museum throughout the video so yeah Miley, do you really want your fans to start smashing windows? So what she is saying in the video is that she actually can be tamed. Nice way of contradicting herself.
