All girls in Hollywood are dumb and shallow. Sometimes it seems that way when you read the magazines and the celebrity news and gossip sites. The Lindsay Lohan’s and Britney Spears make it look like that but that’s only because they’re the ones that get all the media attention. There are girls out there that prove the opposite.

I’m not saying that people like Lindsay Lohan are dumb, I’ve never seen their school report cards; they just made the wrong choices. To the general audience they just seem that way also because you never know what is true and what isn’t. Most of the girls in Hollywood finish high school say that they want to go to college but don’t in the end. This is understandable looking at the busy schedules they have and that theire jobs usually pay well so there isn’t a need for a college degree in that department.

There are quite a few girls out there that are serious about an education though. Natalie Portman for example, she has a college degree in psychology from Harvard. She has even indicated that she would leave acting at some point and work as a psychologist, though I have my doubts that that would work. I don’t know if a lot of people would be willing to go to a psychologist who’s famous. Not to mention it’s quite hard to keep up with the latest development in a field of health care when you aren’t active in it. (more…)
